NETFX is a small web site development company based in Auckland.

We specialise in S.M.E. sites and work within a number of specialist industries such as fitness and automotive, especially classic/muscle car service providers,

Our Point of Difference is our experience from working with a wide range of industries where the owners or managers just need to get on line for the best possible value.

We create great designs at a great price, we follow best practice when developing the sites and provide value add services such as editing tools, search engine optimisation and provide additional "add-on´s" to enhance your visitors experience.

Our principal, Tony Hewett, attended Unitech to learn this trade after selling a successful business in the Auckland CBD.

In the year 2000 Tony established NetFX and attracted the attention of a boutique branding agency, Kymera, where they developed a number of high end sites for property developers and real estate business. Due to a loss in the family, Kymera´s principal closed the business so he could run the well established family business.

A very successful partnership was then formed with New Zealand Revolution (NZR), an ISP that provided Internet access at a great price and templated web sites for one third of the average price of sites in 2002.

When NZR merged with Quik (sic)

Internet we developed an efficient system of creating custom designed web sites that provided a great Internet presence for companies that could not previously afford, or could only afford basic templated sites.

A number of products were developed that could be "plugged in" to increase functionality and enhance the visitors experience.

We also developed a online shopping system for companies that had a small product range. This type of system previously relied on a data base and expensive hosting solutions. Our system provided the same convenience without all the cost and expensive back ground programming normally associated with shopping carts.

-- Orcon Internet --
Quik (sic) Internet sold their New Zealand interest to iHug and NetFX formed a relationship with New Zealands largest privately owned ISP,

Orcon Internet.

Many great sites were developed until Orcon moved towards becoming a telco and eventually discontinued developing web sites.

NetFX continues to have a relationship with the directors of Quik and Orcon and we still look after a number of their customers with on going development and updates on their sites.

Solid Background Code
Web sites are only as robust as their back-ground code, the instructions the web browsers read that determine how to display your web site.
There are thousands of tricky little instructions developers can embed in the code, however not all browsers will accept the instruction, or the code is what we call heavy slowing down the loading of the site.
We keep it clean and FAST.
